Media Solutions Partner

People

Joni Miller

  • Prior to founding Miller Radcliffe Marketing Inc, Joni was Executive VP, Director of Media Services at EvansGroup and Senior VP, Group Media Director at Young & Rubicam, San Francisco.  Her key area of expertise is consumer marketing and research, specifically working with franchise systems and large retail operations (Sears, Orchard Supply Hardware, Safeway, Restoration Hardware, Bank of America Retail and West Marine).  She has been instrumental in developing and managing successful vendor-funded advertising programs for major retailers. She brings a depth of knowledge of retail operations and franchise dynamics to the marketing and media process.  In her spare time, Joni enjoys traveling internationally, gardening and home improvement projects, and spending time with her two funny dogs Spanky and Miles.

Carol Radcliffe

  • Carol began her career at the venerable Doyle, Dane Bernbach and since then, has held titles of Media Director, VP or Partner at leading national agencies such as DDB Needham, EvansGroup and recently, Partner/Media for Publicis/San Francisco.  Although knowledgeable in all areas of media, Carol’s expertise is in analyzing and negotiating print media.  She has a solid reputation as one of the most effective national print negotiators in the industry.  Her client experience includes major consumer retail accounts (Restoration Hardware, launch of Bank of America In-Store Banking), B2B and travel (Philips Medical Systems, Hyndai Electronics, Hawaiian Airlines).  Carol’s passions include the Blues, fly-fishing and working with her African Grey Parrot, Spencer (who can carry on a pretty good conversation) and spirited dog, Abby.

Helen Young

  • Art direction was Helen’s original intent in the ad business but after joining BBDO and working in the various disciplines media became her focus.  Since that fateful decision, she has never looked back moving on to senior positions in agencies such as Young & Rubicam, Foote Cone & Belding, Goldberg Moser O’Neill and as VP, Group Media Director at McCann-Erickson where she managed their two largest clients (Wells Fargo Bank and the National Dairy Board) as well as new business.  She also ran her own marketing and media consultancy for a time.  Helen believes in being platform-neutral in deciding upon a communications mix.  That belief stems from experience across many varied client industries.  Her area of expertise is in consumer packaged goods (Clorox, Del Monte, Pillsbury) and high tech B2B and B2C (Microsoft, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Apple, Concentric, Symantec).  She began buying online banners in 1995.  Certified Google Advertising Professional.  She has taught at Adweek’s professional series, hopes to break 100 in golf soon and recently held the title of Marin County bowling Princess.

Chuck Sipos

  • Chuck is a Detroit native and his mid-western roots have served him well in navigating the media world.  He began his career at Brogan & Partners Communications after graduating from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.  Working his way from intern to Manager, he honed his media skills across many disciplines – from healthcare, travel, education, and entertainment to political campaigns.  He moved west to immerse himself in SFO, the hotbed of the internet/dot-com revolution in the late 1990’s where he integrated his experience in traditional media with the Internet to help clients obtain optimal results.  As he enters his second decade in media planning, when he is not negotiating with broadcast stations, analyzing media proposals or developing plans … Chuck can be found camping in Mendocino, sipping wine in Napa or cheating at Euchre.

Lynda Black

  • Lynda joined mrm by way of Chicago and Dallas and brings a diverse background having worked in the travel and healthcare industries.  She has been in the Bay Area for over 10 years and most recently worked at Starcom/Publicis & Hal Riney.  In that capacity, she was involved in media planning and execution for Hewlett Packard, Sprint, Jamba Juice and Beringer Wines.  The media plans for these clients included all platforms – including broadcast, print, outdoor, online – bringing many disciplines to her experience.  Outside of media planning, Lynda holds certificates in cardiac sonography and phlebotomy.  Her keen sense of humor keeps us smiling, her two sons keep her life exciting and she also revels in shoe shopping and discovering fine wines.
